Ashlie’s #CBR5 Review #5: The Devil’s Labyrinth by John Saul

John Saul is one of my favorite authors. I don’t read a lot of horror, but I find him to generally be suspenseful and creepy, and a fun easy read. With that being said, this is probably my least favorite of all of his that I have ever read.

The book is set at a private Catholic school and is a battle between good and evil. Possessions, murder, and things are not what they seem.

I felt like the ending was out of place, and the “twists” were all very predictable. I also feel like there were a lot of unanswered questions. All in all, not his best. I wouldn’t recommend this one, but would recommend some of his earlier novels, such as Midnight Voices or Brain Child.
